The program
The program is about entering a deeper dimension of coaching with a deep presence, learning to adopt the BE-mode in a conversation that yields high outcomes, discovering a new business model that combines the coach attitude with a way of making a living, and offering you a platform for diversity with six different MCC role models originating from different parts of the world.
How to bring Love and Trust as masterful coaches in those uncertain times?
For the launch of their program ‘Masterful Coaching: The Deeper Dimension’, Andre Ribeiro (Portugal), Rekha Hatkanagelekar (India) and Sylviane Cannio (Belgium) answer to three questions about How to bring Love and Trust as masterful coaches in the current uncertain times?
The Rationale and the Overall Purpose
Are you a MCC or a PCC who has reached a degree of development in your practice and who is now looking for the next step? Discovering a deeper level, where emotions are explored, discussions are of high level and seeking for life purpose, for soulful actions. It is not about getting your 40 CCEUs every three years, it is far more than that: it is a constant quest for self-development, to be at one’s best, to be in the know of the latest cutting-edge coaching techniques, and to be in line with the constantly evolving market
For the PCC coaches who are ready to pass their MCC exams, it is to understand what each MCC marker (the “ICF anchors”) means inside the process and the coaching conversation. Did you know that many MCC applicants have the feeling that they are ready to obtain their ICF credentialing because their client experience surpasses 2,500 hours? Yet only a small portion of them will pass the ICF certification exams. Why? It is not the number of hours that leads to the MCC level of a coach, and preparation is akin to sports. Experience is as important as professional maturity. It is also an attitude, an ability to be ego-free, in full presence with a client, demonstrating a genuine curiosity, a knack of ‘not knowing’, to allow the client to take their full amplitude.
To help experienced coaches reach this masterful level, and for the MCC to further enhance their skills, six world-class MCC have joined creativity and energy to offer a new high-level program called ‘Masterful Coaching, the Deeper Dimension’. This program was first available in Russian-speaking countries and is now being provided worldwide.

Learning Outcomes
What is included in the program
1/7
5 bi-monthly – 4 hours virtual master class with a different Master coach, each with a real-time live demo so that you can discover different ways to coach, and one observed practice with immediate feedback/feedforward by the guest MCC. Each session is a true virtual class with everybody on the screen, with interaction – no pre-recording. Each one will be developing an area that constitutes a strong point in the MCC’s coaching practice.
- Sylviane Cannio (Belgium) on the BE-mode based on true agape love for the client and for self, unconditionally.
- Aref Al Mubarak (KSA) on the complementarity of being a person, a parent, yet to have the business acumen to be a strong life and/or executive coach.
- Andre Ribeiro (Portugal/UK) on true ontological coaching and methods to increase our creativity and innovativeness.
- Rekha Hatkanagalekar (India) on the quality of silence, true presence, compassionate feedback to create deep awareness leading to change and action.
- Craig Stanton (USA) on how seeing and cultivating basic acceptance of our “self-imperfections” can also be a profound source of self-awareness for our clients. And how to modify the business model to combine the coaching attitude and a way of living.
2/7
1 pre-recorded session of 1.5 hour with the explanation of the new MCC markers
The tutorial with Fran Fisher: “Embracing the Spiritual Journey to Mastery as MCC” – a wonderful discovery of the ‘BE-mode’ by one of the pioneers of coaching. Fran will also explore the MCC anchors and explain the common mistakes that MCC applicants often make during the credentialing process and provide some keys to success.
3/7
Mentoring on MCC core competencies – Observed sessions in small groups with personalized feedback on your coaching
The ‘drills’, or mentoring sessions, namely fish-bowls sessions of ‘observed practice’ so that you receive direct feedback/feedforward on your coaching: ICF core competencies at MCC level, proposal of other strategies and approaches, analysis of possible parallel transfer and other elements of the coach’s ‘inner theater’. The objective is to bring you in a position to coach totally ego-free, with detachment yet total presence and care for your client, to coach the person and not only the issue. Here also, the number of the sessions depends on the size of the cohort. If you choose to do so, you may also provide tapes that all the group can debrief in the light of the MCC anchors (the ICF requires that the MCC applicant provides two audio recordings, so this will be an effective way to obtain an appraisal of your level of coaching). The objective is to make you really akeen at embedding those anchors into your daily practice. It will also be a strong reminder/encouragement for the coaches who are already credentialed at MCC level. There will be several sessions of three to four hours, either in French or in English, mostly in virtual mode and in small groups so that you feel at ease. Dates will be determined together during the program, starting at the end of the virtual master classes, namely beginning of December.
4/7
Supervision in small groups – full day – Français/English
Supervision sessions of one full day with Sylviane in small groups of seven coaches (on-site near Brussels or virtual for the ones who cannot be physically present, in French and in English). The purpose of supervision is to screen the relationship between you and your client and your client’s system so that you can develop your practice and maintain or enhance your wellbeing – isn’t important to clean the diswasher to guarantee effective dishwashing? According to Hawkins and Smith (2013):
- The Developmental Function
Concerned with development of skills, understanding and capacities of the coach / mentor. - The Resourcing Function
Providing a supportive space for the coach / mentor to process the experiences they have had when working with clients. - The Qualitative Function
Concerned with quality, work standards and ethical integrity.
You will discover how supervision is part of the process and you will see how it contributes to a better well-being and to the confirmation of the quality of your interventions with your clients. The number of sessions depends on the size of the cohort – you will have your own space in a small group of maximum seven participants.

Personal tutoring by a MCC tutor
You will receive your personalized tutoring sessions with Sylviane in order to make sure you meet your personal objectives: either be credentialed at MCC level by the ICF, or simply reach the higher dimension as explained during the master classes. Sylviane will help you prepare your exams with the ICF (tapes, written exam) if it complies with your objectives or boost your coaching level reaching another dimension, the BE-mode. The tutoring process starts with the “audit” of your level of coaching at the start of the program. Further on, you will be invited to submit recordings to monitor your progress, celebrate and see what is coming next. Sylviane also developed a specific method to boost your level of coaching and will share it with you.
6/7
Mentoring on the do’s and don’ts to pass the written exam
A special session will be organized so that candidates can practice the style of questions on the written exam and feel at ease. These will be questions on various key competencies as well as ethics and specific client cases.
7/7
Practice in your peer group across borders
Connections around the globe with other seasoned coaches, at your own rhythm and according to your real needs.
